Fashion is supposed to be pretty, not necessarily useful or durable. That’s the stereotype at least. With bags and backpacks it’s slightly different as they do have to be carried, but walking around the city and peering into the various store fronts, often I think fashion bags aren’t meant to carry anything at all. They’re just to hold and look nice.
